What makes BreathFriend different from a phone-only breathing app?

BreathFriend is built around Wear OS. You can start guided breathing from your watch and follow haptic, visual and audio cues without needing to hold your phone.

Can BreathFriend run during screen-off or background sessions?

Yes. BreathFriend is designed for subtle guided sessions on Wear OS, including screen-off and background-style use cases where you do not want to stare at a phone.

Does BreathFriend include breathing exercises for sleep and focus?

Yes. BreathFriend includes guided breathing patterns for calm, focus and sleep routines, including box breathing, 4-7-8 breathing, equal breathing and custom patterns.

Can I create my own breathing pattern?

Yes. You can configure inhale, hold, exhale and hold durations to create a custom breathing preset that matches your preferred pace.

Does BreathFriend track HRV?

On supported devices, BreathFriend can show optional HRV and recovery snapshots around sessions. These insights are informational and are not a diagnosis or medical recommendation.

Does BreathFriend support Health Connect?

BreathFriend includes Health Connect integration for supported health and recovery data flows.

Is BreathFriend a medical app?

No. BreathFriend is a wellness and guided breathing app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
